Molybdenum Disulfide Nanoparticle Processes

MoS2 nanoparticle

Introduction

In general, the preparation of molybdenum disulfide including pyrolysis, high temperature curing method, hydrothermal and hydrothermal method, spray drying, chemical vapor deposition, or even a γ-ray method. In these methods, almost all of the solid-phase method require a high temperature of 600℃ ~ 1200℃, and liquid phase method requires in an autoclave at a relatively high temperature (180 ~ 300℃). In previous process, using the hydrothermal method at a temperature of 100℃, directly prepared hexagonal molybdenum disulfide nanoparticles, but the degree of crystallization is not enough. Therefore, it can also be prepared by the mechanochemical method.

In addition, molybdenum disulfide particles can be prepared by an aqueous solution of sodium sulfide and molybdic acid. Alternatively, using spherical nanoparticles of molybdenum trioxide made by the ultrasonic chemical process as precursors used in the hydrogen atmosphere to make molybdenum disulfide nanoparticles.
