Molybdenum Disulfide Nanosheet
Introduction
The strong chemical bond and the weak one of the inner layer attract each other, so that anisotropic layered material over aromatic disulfide attracted widespread attention. Compared with the conventional molybdenum disulfide, molybdenum disulfide nanosheet has more excellent properties, such as the bigger specific area, stronger adsorption capacity and higher catalytic efficiency. And because dangling bonds of the edge of two-dimensional structure is not stable enough, it would curl quickly to form a closed structure - the structure of fullerenes or nanotubes.
Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) belongs to the transition metal sulfides, it has a special layered structure. The layers were combined by weak van der Waals forces, and therefore it has a good lubricity, catalytic, and optical performance, raises wide attention ampong people. In addition, nanometer-sized molybdenum disulfide has a large specific surface area, so molybdenum disulfide nanosheet is used as the adsorbent to treat wastewater pollution.
