Introduction

Hydrothermal means that in closed reactor (autoclave) and water is used as a medium, by heating the reaction system to produce a high temperature and pressure environment to prepare material.

Molybdenum hexacarbonyl (Mo (CO) 6) and elemental sulfur are precursor, MoS2 nanosheets about 5 layers with an average size of 50nm can be prepared by hydrothermal, whose layer spacing expanded to 0.69nm. Or MoS2 nano-flowers can be prepared by a two-step hydrothermal. The first step is to use paramolybdate ((NH4) 6Mo7O24) as raw materials synthetise MoO3 by hydrothermal, second step is to use synthesis of MoO3 as precursors, sulfur gland (H2NCSNH2) is sulfur source to get 3D MoS2 nano-flowers. Hydrothermal method can also prepare MoS2 composites. In addition, using carbon fiber cloth, MoO3, thioacetamide (CH3CSNH2) as raw material by hydrothermal synthesis to obtain three-dimensional MoS2 nanosheets display / composites carbon fiber sheet (CCNS). Width of 400nm, 15nm thick of MoS2 nanosheet dimensional display attached to the carbon fibers, greatly increases the surface area of the material.

Among MoS2 nanosheets method, hydrothermal method has low energy consumption, low reaction temperature, good reaction conditions and easily to be controlled, good reaction confined, it is no need to pass an inert gas, etc., which exhibit unique charm for producing a special structure, synthesis and control of materials and low-dimensional materials.
